We are seeking experienced medical writers to join our busy editorial team. The team creates and delivers a wide range of projects, serving the needs of both the pharmaceutical company sponsors and the healthcare professional audience. The majority of our work is digital, developing educational resource hubs as well as delivering live events through our online platform, but there will also be the chance to work on face-to-face conferences and events.

The medical writers are responsible for leading content development across multiple projects, ensuring agreed timelines are met and quality standards upheld. You will will also play a key part in proposing and defining the scope of new projects

  • Crafting written content for assigned projects (including, but not limited to: slide decks, email invitations, video scripts, advertisements, FAQ documents, case studies and CPD modules), either de novo or as updates to existing materials; incorporating client and speaker feedback as needed
  • Copyediting and proof-reading of a wide range of materials generated by other members of the project team (e.g. for coherence, structure, consistency, style, grammar/spelling, applicability to the readership)
  • Collaborating with design and digital teams to ensure creative concepts align with the scientific messaging of a project, and that any scientific claims or data are accurately represented
  • Approval systems: submitting project materials for online approval via Veeva Vault and managing the approvals process
  • Balancing editorial tasks relating to multiple projects, making appropriate prioritisation decisions
  • Recommending suitable approaches for content development to the client services team when projects are being planned
  • Conference materials: editing and laying out PowerPoint files, checking presentations for technical issues
  • Approval systems: submitting project materials to online approval systems such as ZincMaps
  • Video-based materials: attending video shoots to identify issues that will create potential technical or content problems; reviewing video edits

GPnotebook is a diagnostic and treatment tool used by GPs to support and guide the clinician during a patient consultation. It accesses a range of trusted sources for its content, include NICE and International guidance.

Developed in the United Kingdom 25 years ago, GPnotebook is now used in over 150 countries worldwide. Since official launch in Australia in August 2019, GPnotebook has gained over 40% market access and is growing at a rate of circa 80 GPs a day.

Job purpose

The role of Business Development Manager is to develop, maintain and grown commercial opportunities within the Australian healthcare market for the GPnotebook brand. This includes lead generation and sales of all digital inventory and eDM activity to all relevant healthcare agencies, device manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies.

In addition, the BDM will work with the UK based Directors to identify new opportunities for the Australian market, and support in developing a strategy to introduce and sell the concepts.

Main duties

  • To manage and have full responsibility for sales-based activity for the GPnotebook Australia brand. This includes display, online, emails, bespoke and medical education.
  • To develop sales opportunities for the brand through collaboration with clients, sponsors, KOLs and other clinicians. This includes the development of new business opportunities driving and developing accounts and new revenue.
  • To ‘own’ and update weekly sales reporting in-to the UK business and provide regular reports for senior management, accurately recording the financial and revenue activity of the business.
  • To develop and prepare sales proposals.

Senior Account Manager/Account Director

Take full responsibility for the organisation and delivery of multifaceted projects on behalf of pharmaceutical clients which include face-to-face events, webcasts, websites, case studies, videos, interactive HCP educational material and other online activities.

Main duties

  • Lead weekly client and project team calls/meetings at the start of each project to identify and confirm the scope of projects 
  • Be involved in all weekly client and project team calls/meetings to support the Account Manager/ Account Executive 
  • Develop strong client relationships throughout the lifecycle of the event including onsite at meetings/ webcasts

Account Manager​

Responsible for organising and delivering digital projects including webinars, digital events, videos and marketing materials on behalf of pharmaceutical clients, as well as maintaining strong client relationships.

Account Executive/Senior Account Executive

We have an opening for an Account Executive/Senior Account Executive to join our friendly Client Services team.

General project management

  • To implement projects in order that the objectives of the client and OMC are met. This involves developing a strong client relationship and effective management of internal resources to ensure good teamwork and that OMC standards are maintained
  • Co-ordinates and organises client and internal weekly meetings, prepares agenda/minutes/action points and updates status reports
  • Assists the Account Manager in creating the promotional plan for projects and assists with the development of associated promotional materials

Digital Operations Executive

We are looking to hire a driven Digital Operations Executive to support our continued growth in the UK and internationally. This new role will focus on internal and external marketing; from email/CRM to social media creation and execution.

You will need to:

  • Setup new display ads on our websites through our ad platform, and remove old ads when needed.
  • Manage and report on the daily performance of online display ads, making sure everything is running smoothly and making changes where necessary.
  • Manage the scheduling of the emails, highlighting when things are delayed, or if any changes are needed.
  • Create our user and client emails on a simple drag-and-drop system; from setting the audience adding in the content to ensuing the emails go out on time.
  • Schedule and post on all our social media channels.
  • Report on the results of the display ad, email and social performance on a regular basis.
  • Build webpages and edit content on certain pages through a simple CMS.
  • Work with our data expert to put together website reports for clients and the internal teams.
  • Have a desire to learn, research and be proactive.

 

In short: We need someone that can learn quickly and be able to divide their attention across a few marketing activities.
